Hi Cameo,

Did you enjoy meeting your researcher, Stacy Kim? I thought she was very nice. Did you get an opportunity to talk about ways you could get your students involved in the research you will be doing?

Hi Kristin -It was really great getting to meet Stacy Kim. She is not at all what most people think of when they picture a research scientist. Stacy is relaxed and very easy to talk to. She is also quite smart and knows a lot about ROV's. Oops! I forgot to make sure that you knew that ROV stands for Remotely Operated Vehicle. That's what Stacy is building and testing under the ice in Antarctica. She and I are talking about having my students build their own ROV. We would then take that ROV to Antarctica and test it. I can't wait to talk to my students and see what they think of the idea. I will keep you posted.
