What do some fish under the ice eat? -Johnna

Stacy Kim

HI Johnna,The biggest of the Antarctic fish, the Antarctic cod or toothfish, eat
smaller fish. The smaller fish eat smaller animals, depending on
where they live. The ones that live on the bottom eat worms,
crustaceans, and snails; the ones that live in the water column eat
krill.
