What is the coldest temperature that has ever been recorded in Antarctica? Jenny

Michele Cross

Hi Jenny,
The coldest temp. recorded was almost -129 below zero, and that was recorded at the Russian station, Vostok, in 1983.  Kinda makes you appreciate our winters, huh??

PS I don't think I'll complain about winter here ever again!!
