Hello, i was wondering Have you guy's ever touched a penguin? ITS; Victoria D.

Hi Victoria,We have never touched penguins, but we have gotten close enough to
touch them, because the penguins will come right up to you. We are
very careful not to disturb any of the vertebrate animals, if our
activities are changing their behavior we are required to leave. But
penguins are very curious and they will sometimes walk over to see
what you are doing as you work. The land vertebrates in Antarctica
are bold like this because they have no natural land predators, so
they have no fear of being eaten on land. In the water, where there
are leopard seals and orcas, it is a different story.
