Antarctic Undersea ROV 09

Hi, I am a PhD student of Univ of Georgia, Athens, in the department of computer science. I am really interested in these expeditions like ROV '09 & want to be part of it, so that I can visit the bottom of the earth. So, can know, what sort of work are you doing? How can I be a part of your future expeditions & visit Antarctica to research based on ROV? Please let me know. I hope, you are having a great time. - Anirban Mukhopadhyay

Thanks Stacy, For your reply. The two websites were really helpful. Let me explore a bit on those, then I'll talk to my Professor & if he is interested, then I'll let you know. I am really interested to take part in these sorts of projects & Antarctica is like a dreamland for me to work on for my thesis.
Actually, I am interested in image processing related problems. As you are taking underwater pictures, so, I feel, you must be facing some imaging problems. I'll be more than happy to discuss on those & if possible, work on those towards my PhD as it will be a really new place of work. Hoping to hear from you. Wishing you bet of luc.
