Hi Ashley,We still run on 24 hour days, but we adjust our clock to whatever is
convenient, as most of the time it is either dark out all the time or
light out all the time. So during the winter, when most of the
communication is with the headquarters in Denver, Colorado, McMurdo is
on Mountain Time. In the summer, when most of the communication is
with Christchurch, New Zealand, McMurdo runs on New Zealand time. New
Zealand is on the other side of the date line, so when we are there,
we will be in tomorrow relative to you!
