St. Regis 6th graders want to guess that your water bottle in your pocket is up-side-down to keep the mouth piece from freezing.

Great guess!! I'd never thought about it before but found that the upside down trick worked!! As water freezes, the ice floats. Turning your water bottle upside down will keep the ice formation away from the mouth of your water bottle. Just make sure that the lid is screwed on TIGHTLY!!! Otherwise your pocket will be soaked, or as I found here, it turned to snow!!Mrs. Cross
