Hi Mr B.,

 Thank you for responding to my questions. Now here are some more.

My Dad said that in some places Summer in Antarctica it never gets dark is that what's it like in Mcmurdo?

And if so How do you sleep?

Hi Abby,Your Dad is correct. In fact, in most places in Antarctica the sun does not set during the summer. The entire time that I will be in McMurdo the sun will always be in the sky, it never does get dark. However, in the winter the sun never rises.  There are thick shades over the windows, however I can sleep fine even when it is light outside.
I would love to see a leopard seal.
