  Dear Mr. B.,

      I think the type of whale you saw was either a humpback whale or a right whale.

 (They are both Baleen whales)

       Isn't it funny that when you leave Antarctica and you pass the equator that your basicly you're going to re-living a day?  Undecided

You are right those ar both baleen whales but it was not either of them, it was a minke whale.It is rather stange to have the same day twice. It was also really strange coming down here when I did not have a Dec 22. ALthough the date change is on the international date line but not the equator.
