Dear Mr. B

It's Brooke. (Again) with more questions that will need answers!

So, Here they are:

1.  What if while you and your freind were in the middle of no where somthing happend, for exaple, a whiteout, or what if you or your friend(s) got sick?

2.  How many peaple got droped of in the middle of no where with you, what was it like and what were there names?

3.  How did you come up with all those great WATIZIT's and did anybody help you?

Those are good questions.Several times the helicopter dropped us off completely on our own. Planning to come back and get us in a few hours. They always left us a survival bag with a tent and other survival gear just in case a storm came up or for what ever reason we might need it. We also had two radios with us to call McMurdo.
When George and I went to WAIS Divide, 700 miles from McMurdo. We then flew 200 or so miles away to weather stations. The Twin Otter always stayed with and it also carried survival bags and radios.
You are never allowed to travel alone.
If we were ever in a really bad white out (which we were not) you should try and get shelter and just stay there.
I got the idea for the WATIZITs from some pictures I saw in a magazine and then I just kept my eyes open for anything that I thought would work well and then I took lots of pictures.
Thanks again for the questions.
Mr. B.
