Questions:

Have you actually seen Scott's ghost?

Is the big blob on the porch the seal you were talking about?

How many snow storms have you been in while you have been there?

Have you ever actually had to rescue someone in a whiteout like you practiced for in Happy Camper School?

How does the climate there compare to Alaska?

Have you seen a seal chasing a penguin?

Stay warm! 3D and 3RCool

It's good to hear from you again.Sorry no ghosts here, but the sound was related to the wind.
You can see part of the seal under the front porch. It is the dark part on top of the lighter colored blob.
You actually can see the seal under the front porch, but not very well. The dark colored parts on top of the lighter blob is the seal.
The storm that is still blowing is the biggest I have seen. We have had a couple of others but not as big as this one.
Fortunately we have not had to rescue anyone.
It is much drier here than in Alaska, in fact Antarctica is a desert. It is also colder here (remember we are in the middle of summer here and it is winter right  now in Alaska and Texas).  I have experienced colder weather in Alaska than I have here, but that was in the winter.
I have not seen seals chasing penguins, that would be pretty cool. In fact the only time I have seen penguins was the one day at Cape Bird.
