Mr. Beckendorf,

I've been reading your journal every day.  I think it's awesome.  I really like listening to your audio recordings.  I liked listening to your recording of when you were in the quinzee.  Were you worried when they left you with 12 other people in the middle of nowhere?  I would have been!

I think the answer to the WATIZIT picture on 1/7 is a picture of the fabric seat cover in the piston bully that you were sitting on.

I also want to ask a few questions.  Do you get confused about what time it is without looking at your watch?  How are you dealing with constant daylight?  Do you need a mask for sleeping?

I hope you're having a fun time.  Stay warm!

Your student,

Travis Bailey

Hey Travis,It is really good to hear from you. I'm glad to hear that you have been reading the journals and are enjoying them. I just posted two new audio files from yesterday.
You are correct, the pic was of the seat cushions.
No I was not worried at all when they left us, I don't think you would have been either. I really thought it was fun and it was a really good group of people.
I do very much get confused. Other than coming from a different direction the light is always the same (unless of course it is cloudy). I have woken up in the middle of the "night" a number of times thinking it was really late in the morning. When I look at the clock it may be 1:00 or 2:00 or 3:00AM.I do not though have trouble sleeping.
Talk to you later.
Mr. B.
