Anna,Here at McMUrdo everyone eats in the galley, it is a large cafeteria. Each meal there are several choices. Today for lunch there was pork with green chili sauce, meat quesadeos, bean quesadeos, soup, rice and corn. You can also get a deli sandwich. There were several kinds of desserts. You can see it is nothing unusual.
Besides working with the meteorolgoists, I was really wanting to experience a major Antarctic storm. Today and for the next couple of days we are suppose to have a small storm with 40 mph winds and blowing snow.
