what is it like being in antarctica?

Those are really good questions.The best way for me to tell you what it is like here, is for you to look through some or all of the journals that I posted on the website.
It really isn't very cold, becasue it is summer here. It has felt cold on a number of days because the wind blows a lot here.
I only say Adelie penguins on the one day that we flew to Cape Bird. I don't know how many are there but I would gues it would be in the thousands, it certainly smelled that way.
