Right now the sun is up all of the time. The next sunset will be Feb 21st. Then on Apr 25th the sun will set and not rise again until Aug 19th. During the months from April 25 until Aug 19th, I am not sure how much of that will be total darkness. I'll try and find someone who has stayed here during the winter and ask them.
