Kirk,

Over the past few years, Tina and I have been talking about Global Warming to our acquaintances.  I have noticed a shift in public opinion the last few years.  The shift has been from denial that it is happening to skeptical acceptance that it is probably happening.  But, many folks seem to be convinced that this is a natural phenomena that is happening without any relation to human intervention.  The underlying message is that since it is a natural process, humans can't/shouldn't intervene to stop it/slow it/reverse it.

Is there any research out of Antarctica that supports the hypothesis that humans are hastening Global Warming?  If yes, what is the single worst thing humans are doing?  I hope it isn't driving minivans! (I'm guilty of that one).

It did go below freezing in Belton last night.  (29 degrees F). Thought about you.

Harvey gave me some oranges and I am trying to get the seeds to sprout. He also gave me some Fig limbs and about 4 of them have roots already (I didn't even use root stimulator).

Hi Richard,Sale your minivan and buy a bike.
I would love to hear Tina and your thoughts on the issue. I do not have specific answers to your question, but I'll do what I can to find out. I do know that the Antarctic Penisula (it is the part sticking north towards S. America) is seeing some of the largest temperature increases on the globe, however, most of the rest of the continent is not seeing those changes.
Are those seeds from a hybrid orange?
