Hope you are having a fabulous Christmas hike in NZ. So anxious to hear all about it and see your photos. All is well here, spent some time yesterday at M&S's and going to K&S's today. We had not heard the news about the airplane you mentioned in your email. They must have been flying "low and slow".
What kind of weather did you have on the hike? Were you hiking mainly along the shore lines or inland?
