Mr. Beckendorf, this class must be into sports.  Most got right away that the game you were describing in New Zealand was Cricket.

Sophie wanted to know how warm it was when you were in New Zealand.

What was it like flying in the C-17? - Josh K.

Kirk Beckendorf

I'm impressed that alot of you knew about cricket, I didn't. Sophie- mostly it was t-shirt to long sleeve shirt weather, 20-25 derees C. On my hike it got pretty chilly at night and when I was hiking in the rain storm- 10-15 degrees C. Like most places in the world they use celsius not farenheit.
Josh- The seats were not too uncomfortable, as you can see from the picture we set along the wall so nothing was in fron of you and you could stretch out your legs. It is noisy so everyone wears earplugs, so you can't very well talk to anyone. There are only about 4 small round windows not much bigger than a dinner plate, so you really can't lookout very much.
