Kirk ,

 Hippy New Cheer!

Tell us all about snow survival school when you can please! (as if you wouldn’t anyway!).

I hope you saw the letter from the Minnesota 2nd grader; I was very moved and inspired and I am only on the peripheral. I think I can speak globally here and say as educators we dream of our students having those “Ah Ha!” moments in our presence; of touching their lives in a positive and memorable way. I feel fortunate to have witnessed such as that from afar in that e-mail from that 2nd grader therefore I give you permission to ignore my last 17 posted questions to have time to respond to that student. Thank-You for being and Educator!

Your New Years perspective of Discovery Hut Point from above was marvelous and caused me to ponder how many others in the last 100 years or so have stood there and taken in that same view with no way to instantly share it. Thank-You Kirk for sharing!  Please say “Hey” to George, Jonathan, Shelley, and Jonas and remind them how very proud we are of them and you. Now go do that science stuff! It is again -8C here this a.m.  Freak-out city! Mike McClure

Hey Mike,Thanks for all of the kind words.
Standing beside Discovery Hut and and then looking down upon it thinking of all that has happened there was truely humbling. I had not thought of that in the terms that you mentioned which is a very interesting thought of how things have changed. How I can share these experiences with others in almost real time.

Thanks for tagging along on the ride.
Kirk
