Hi Bruce, Interesting work and journals. I'm wondering how much of the carbon released via melting permafrost is actually if any reabsorbed as CO2 in the surface water on the tundra? Thanks, Tom Lane

Hi Tom -
One of the interesting things about this work is that they're finding that most of the CO2 released from the tundra is actually coming from the surface waters, not the land. I'll be putting up a post with more details on this. Thanks for checking in!
