Hi Glenn -
Good question! The north slope has crazy temperature swings. It didn't snow, which can happen any month of the year, but it did get down to the 30s and as high as the 80s. The weather can change any minute, from warm & sunny to cold, windy rain. On Monday Nell & I went to the Arctic Ocean and it was freezing on the shore with low temps and strong wind - close to freezing. Yesterday I was swimming in Toolik Lake and glad to cool off. Gotta be ready for anything.
