Hi Mr. Taterka, The trip sounds amazing! My question is how were the living conditions for you and your team while researching in Alaska? And, how will the wild life be effected going forward with the climate change and melting of tundra? Thanks! Can't wait to hear more about it in September! Lizzie Toma

Lizzie -
Living conditions were pretty good, considering we were at a remote Arctic field station. I lived in a big tent, and there was a dining hall with really good food, and bathrooms with running water for washing. There were outhouses for other needs, and we got two 2-minute showers per week. We had electricity and a good wifi connection. All in all, it was pretty good. It will be interesting to see how wildlife might be affected by a warming and melting tundra. Some plants and animals might do better than before, while others will not do as well. One thing is pretty sure and that's that things are not going to remain the same.
