Hello Mr. Taterka,

After watching your video, reading the article, and reading some of your many journal entries: I have realized how significant the problem of Permafrost was. My one question for you is, is there a way to reverse the effects of Permafrost? If so, is that way probable in the next few years? Are scientists looking for a way to solve this problem?

Thank you,

In the next few years we'll probably see permafrost continue to thaw. The best way to slow this down would be to reduce CO2 emissions which lead to climate change, but that's not going very well on a world-wide basis. There are lots of scientists looking for ways to solve the problem of global warming; for example, CO2-free energy like wind turbines and solar panels or even nuclear. We'll think about this question a lot this year.
