Period 4 and 5 got to talk to Mrs Prevenas today. Well, sort off. She was on the speaker phone but so were a whole other bunch of people and the speaker volume could not get turned up very high. So everybody was getting really restless except when she came on the phone. We also didn't know about the live webcast until that morning so we were kinda surprised. Next time we will prepare better questions. We are learning about energy transfer and foodchains right now. Our substitute teacher is making us remember words like autotroph, producer, trophic level, photic zone  and so on. She even tried to make us remember the chemical reaction of photosynthesis. Well, good luck! Mrs. Prevenas has tried that before. Anyway, it is kinda cool to see those words actually used by scientists. But what we do not really get is what actually are all those scientists doing out there. We read that they check what "abiotic factors" influence' whatever it was. But exactly why? What will happen after all the experiments are done. Will something change? Well, that's all for now.Aloha fromMrs. Prevenas's kids
