Hmmmmm......Do I feel prepared?
All of the professional development that we have learned over the past two days is invaluable! My favorite part of today was connecting with Sean Topkok. My students will get cool insights into another culture and be able to share some of their own.
I know that after the logistics call I will feel so much better.
Am I looking forward to my cruise as a BEST teacher?
Ya, HUH! For me this whole experience is chicken skin city. I'm not talking about the cold, I'm talking about the whole mission. To be able to work with real live science researchers, on global warming, in the arctic, and share it with my students as it is happening...well I'm walking around on my tippy toes

Prepared is all in the way you would define it. We still have a lot of unanswered questions and no logistic call. This "call" I believe is basically where all will be revealed. I think the unknowing of when, where, and how is weighing heavily on me. Not to mention, the cold. I am extremely excited!!

It was a pleasure meeting you in Fairbanks.  I am very much looking forward to reading about your adventures in the wondrous detail and voice you have to offer! Wasn't the Anchorage airport amazing?!  Not to mention the view.  I sat upstairs on that observation platform for nearly an hour looking the art and admiring the mountains!  Beautiful!
