Kris- 
There is always plenty to eat. The cooks in the mess hall put up a menu that shows for an entire week what will be served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 
I eat pretty much like I would back home. I eat a lot of chicken and salad. Sometimes special desserts are made at dinner but they go quick among the 140 or so people on board the Healy. 
 
No, there is no food on the helicopter.
