So what's the mystery audio? It was labeled as Bearded Seal. Was that it? Very strange sounds. Haunting in a beautiful way.
Hope you guys are safe. I just read on CNN that a fishing vessel lost some crew members 120 miles west of Dutch Harbor. Y'all should post a map of your location! I know you were near the Date Line a few days ago, but that's it.
I love the eiders pictures- must have been fun in the helicoptor! Ms. Carpenter had to explain to my 7th period class what they were a few weeks ago when you mentioned in your journal that someone was researching them. I've never heard of that kind of bird. Glad you got to see some.
