Bering Ecosystem Change

Hey Mr K just wondering how are you holding up on that ship? I know i probably could not stand to be on there because the last few boat rides i have been on i have puked while on them from the rocking and the swaying. Hope your having fun out there!

Before we hit the sea ice, it was a challenge until you get used to the rocking. It was kind of cool in that it felt like you were on a small roller coaster a couple of times! Now that we are in the sea ice and the ship is breaking through it, it feels like we are a rough gravel road at its worst. At least now we don't have to secure everything on the floor or tie down everything. Most of the USCG equipment is secured to prevent it from moving when the ship is underway. Plus, no one has gotten sick yet!

cool i guess i would like to be on that ship. it sounds really fun. Have you guys seen a lot of wildlife since you've been sailing, like fish or seals or otters?
