I read on the website that you were to study the late winter conditions, the biological communities in sea ice, examining the early spring plankton bloom, and light penetration through water an ice. What have you done so far?

I have assisted with the benthic organisms sampling, sea ice and snow measurements, and a helicopter survey for eiders and walrus. We saw 8000 Spectacled Eiders and 1 walrus on our survey tonight.
