Hi Mr. Wood this is Julia from Period 5. I think I see 11 oxbow lakes in that photo in your first journal. (im not that sure on what they look like)

Good job. I think you are counting the bends in the river. They are the beginning of oxbow lakes, but they are still part of the river. The two pieces of river that look like they have become separated are really the lakes. If you look again they are in the middle part of the photo.Mr. Wood
