Hi Mr. Wood This is Julia from Period 5. I think at that time of year,when the day is short, the CO2 is going out because if the daylight is short, that means the suns not there much long so the plants might not be taking in carbon dioxide. Also for your second question, I think now the carbon balance is lower because the suns out there more so the plants breath in carbon dioxide for photosymphasis.
