Hi Mr. Wood it's Mariah from period 5 and I wanted to give you some feed back on the questions that you posted under the pictures in your first journal.

QUESTION 1: How do you think these circles form? I think these circles form from ice sheets over lapping each other forming; the circles from trapped air bubbles in the ice.

QUESTION 2: How many oxbow lakes do you see in this photo? I believe that there are 5 oxbow lakes in the photo.

QUESTION 3: What do you think some of those important adaptations are. I think that one adaptation is that the polar bear is white so it is able to adapt to the snow and ice.

Mr. Wood I hope you are having fun in Antarctica and can't wait for you to come back. I also hope that you come back before the talent show so you can see me, Michael from 4th period and two seventh graders.

John Wood

Thank you for the nice comments. If I don't make it back for the talent show then you can perform your act for us in class!Your answers are good. I only see three oxbow lakes, so you may be looking at the bends in the river. The lakes are separate from the river.
Keep up the good work and good luck in the talent show. I will be cheering for you!
Mr. Wood
