Hi Mr. Wood!
I had some questions and answers for you. First my answer to 'Why HB does not have a tundra climate?' HB is too close to the equator to be a tundra and it is never cold enough to freeze. Now my questions: Do you know approximately how tall the first caribou you saw was? I have been communicating with my aunt in Alaska and she said she recently received a large amount of snow near her home. Have you gotten much snow lately? She also sent me a chapstick as a joke made of moose 'duds'. :) I also wanted to know if you have been called for the roadkill list since you have been in Healy? If so, what animal did you feast upon? :) I hope you are enjoying the chilly weather up there! Sincerely, Olivia Dillon Period 4

Thanks for the answer and the questions. The caribou was not a real large one, i'm not sure of the size because I didn't get a chance to get closer. Where does your aunt live? We have not had any snow here for a week or so. The weather has been warming up and it has been pretty clear. Nice chapstick! No roadkill yet!Mr. Wood
