Good question! Yes, there are bears, but not polar bears. We are too far south for the polar bears to come and the snow doesn't stay here long enough for them. We do have brown and black bears. They should be showing themselves soon after the spring takes hold and the warms up just a bit more. I'm hoping to see some before I leave.Thanks,
