If the Tundra continues to warm up, will species eventually adapt to the climatic changes? If so, how?

John Wood

Great question! However there is no simple answer. Some species will adapt and thrive in the change while other will not do so well. Plants may explode with growth in the warmer air, but animals with thick fur may have to migrate further north. There are many factors for this including size, rate of reproduction, what adaptations they have now, where they are in the food chain, just to mention a few. The organisms that can use more factors will probably be more successful. Thanks,
