Thank you for the questions and for letting me know who you are. I'm glad you remember me from last year, and I hope you are in my class next year. There has been no good animal sightings yet, but we will not give up. When we arrived last week the temperature at night was right around -25 F. Since then it has warmed quite a bit and today reached a hi of about 26 F above zero. Glad to hear that you like science, me too!See you,
Mr. Wood

Thank you very much for the good thoughts. I am very happy that you will be coming to Talbert next year! I'm sorry that I missed your question about the dogs. The dogs are pretty smart. They have a good sense of direction and can find their way home or over a trail that they have used before. The musher, or person driving the team, uses different methods to steer the dogs. Some times they will have a call for the dogs to go right or left. Sometimes you have to get off and lead the dogs in the direction you want them to go. This is tricky because if the dogs start to run before you get on the sled they may leave you behind! That could be a long walk! Thanks,
Mr. Wood
