Hi John and team!

Welcome back to sunny Alaska! Looks like you are literally diving into things! I love the photo of you in the snow pit and feet sticking out :)

Looks like you have lots of snow. Is that the case or did I just forget. We have more in Fairbanks than we did last year...so, I was wondering how it compares down there. Also, we are colder than we were last year at this same time. I think spring will eventually make it here. We at least have all the daylight!

Did the sled dogs recognize you? :)

Hope to see you soon.

Janet

P.S. Are you going to a live event this trip? Probably should set some dates soon (hint, hint) :)

John Wood

Thank you, it's good to be back. We have jumped right in to the swing of things, collecting the last of the winter measurements. We do seem to have a fair amount more snow this year. The shoveling should be fun. If you know of anyone who wants to help out with shoveling for a day or two from April 15 - 22, let us know. Sue has some money to pay folks, but I will have to check.A live event would be good. Let me get a date and some ideas together and get back to you.
Thanks for everything!
John
