There is no tundra in Huntington Beach because it is close to the equator and the tempatures are warm. In the tundra they are really cold and they aren't by a large mass of water like huntington beach.

Wow i have never seen snowfall! like you said our class has not been out much! hahahaha how does the snow form?because isn't snow frozen rain? so were does the water come from to evaporate then precipitate? Ashley Campbell per.1

Hi it's me again i have a simple question if snowflakes are crystals why do they call them flakes is their more than one type of snowflake

You are right, and good thinking about the large mass of water nearby. Snowflakes may be made of more than one crystal. The crystals are made from water vapor so it begins as really tiny pieces of water, much smaller than a drop of rain would be. If you get a chance to answer the questions for the quiz, you have until Saturday to see if you can get them all right.Thanks,
