Hi Mr. Wood!!! It's Alyssa Telepnev from period 3 and I think I have the answers to the 3 questions. 1. Location and temperature cause this area to be tundra because the sun isn't hitting it at a less-direct angle. 2. If the climate warms up, plants will be able to grow. This means that there will be a lot more carbon in the air due to photosynthesis. 3. There are no large trees in this tundra area because it isn't warm enough for decomposers to live and give the soil the nutrients it needs to support large plants.

I can't wait for you to come back to CA, and please get rid of the beard before you get back :) ~Alyssa

Good thinking on the answers but don't forget that plants use CO2 during photosynthesis! So there will be less carbon in the air. See you soon. Thanks,

Hi again! Sorry in my first answer I meant to say the sun IS hitting it at a less direct angle, and in the 2nd question I totally meant to say less carbon. I wasn't thinking and I forgot to proofread my answers. Thanks for responding and see ya soon!~Alyssa Telepnev
