From Bailey Rini-Potts Science, Period 2

Hi Mr Wood. Here are my answers to the questions. I went ahead and retyped the questions so that it would be easier for both of us. 80)

The first question is, How do you think this area of change will affect people? Will it kill them? Will it cause them to move or build different structures? Will it change the way they get their food or go to work or anything else? It will affect people in the areas immediately and they will have to adapt to their new environment. They will have to move once the water takes over their land. If they refuse to move it could kill them as their food supply will be cut off. They may have to take a boat to work. Fishermen will not have to go as far to get to work.

The second question is, Who are these people being affected? Where do they live? What countries? Alaska and Canada will most likely be the first ones affected. Everyone living in a costal area will be affected eventually because the oceans will rise.

The last question is, What can we do to keep this change from happening? One way we can keep this change from happening is less waste in the air by shutting down some of the industrial industries so there is less pollution in the air to stop global warming and then the ice caps won't melt.

What will the world look like if we can't stop it? If we can't stop the ice caps from melting most of the land we see today will be covered with water in 100 years.

I hope that you are having some fun while you are working. Those pictures of the moose and the caribou were cool!!

Talk to you later, Bailey Rini-Potts
