Dear Mr Wood, I am so sorry that I waiting until the last minute to do this assignment! Here are my answers....
- What factors cause this area to be tundra??
- How will the factors change with a warmer climate??
- Why are there no large trees in this tundra area???
Answers :
The factors that cause this area to be tundra are: the limiting factors (soil composition, space, light, food and water, and weather), biotic(living) + abiotic non-living factors, temperature, latitude, and the little amount of precipitation the tundra recieves
These factors will change with a warmer climate, by the soil composition increasing and amount of precipitation each year. Also, more plants will be able to grow and more animals will be able to adapt to the climate.
There are no large trees because of the all of the permafrost and there is little precipitation and little time for big and strong trees to grow.
