Dear Mr Wood, I am SOOOOOO sorry that I am waiting until the last minute to do this assignment, but the past few nights I have been up until about 9:30 doing homework. I know that I said the same thing for the last assignment that you assigned, but i swear that I am telling the truth! :-]
What factors cause this area to be tundra??
How will the factors change with a warmer climate??
Why are there no large trees in this tundra area???
Answers :
- The factors that cause this area to be tundra are : limiting factors (soil composition, space, light, food and water, and weather) biotic(living) + abiotic(non-living) factors temperature latitude the little amount of precipitation
- These factors will change with a warmer climate by the soil composition increasing in quality as well as the amount of precipitation each year. Also, more plants will be able to grow, and more animals will be able to adapt to the climate.
- There are no large trees because of the permafrost and there is little precipitation.
