Carbon Balance in Warming and Drying Tundra

Hi John,

What type of field work will you be doing on your expedition? Will you be identifying and counting tundra plants?

Hello Nell,Thanks for the question! We will be paying a lot of attention to the plants and fungus that make up the tundra. I don't know that we will be actually counting individual species, but we will quantify the amount of CO2 that is being exchanged in a certain area.
