Carbon Balance in Warming and Drying Tundra

Dear Mr. Wood,

I was wondering how big Healy is. I was also wondering if Healy had shrunk or increased its size since it was found and named (Like how the U.S.A. had during its history.).

Hello and thanks for the questions. Healy is a small town that is really only a few blocks long. Some of the people that live in Healy have houses that are several miles away from the buildings in town. During the summer the town grows in numbers from all of the workers at the mine and the national park, but when the winter comes many people leave the area. The town has grown over the years, but very slowly!Cheers,
