Dear Mr. Wood,

I had to disguise my tiltle so people would't copy my answers. Here are some of the answers to the questions you have been asking in your journals:

Do you know what family the moose belongs to? What are some of the adaptations that a moose has to help it survive?

The moose belongs to the deer family. The mooses' adaptations are eating berries, twigs, grass, tree bark, and branches, having two large toes (to not slip while running), the ability to run fast, the ability to be a good swimmer, the ability to grow a thicker coat during winter, having a keen sense of smell, and having strong antlers or sharp hooves, depending if the moose is female or male.

Can you tell what kind of dogs these are? What makes this a good breed for pulling sleds through the snow?

Those dogs are huskies. They were bred to be able to pull heavy loads. They also have two thick coats of fur.

What do you think this river is doing? It is running fast or slow?

I think the river is freezing up. I think the river is running slow because ice can't move as fast as water.

                                                                                                                                                     -Sydney
