Dear Mr. Wood, Here are the answers to the three questions that you asked us during sky ping. 1. The factors that cause this area to be tundra is because Alaska is near the Arctic circle. The Arctic circle is extremely cold so since Alaska is near the north pole the tundra is a little warmer than the north pole. 2. The factors will change with a warmer climate by the snow, permafrost melting. The clumps of grass would be as wet as a swamp. 3. There are no large trees in the tundra area because the soil isn't fertile enough to grow extremely high because of the permafrost.
