Hey Mr. Wood it's Frankie again from per. 3. I wanted to talk about the May 28th journal. As you get farther and farther down in the permafrost tunnel does it get colder and colder or get hotter and hotter. Also since it is a permafrost tunnel and the permafrost soil is deep, do any plants grow down in the tunnel. Also, even without the sun do you think they can do a little phototsynthesis sometimes? Do you think the plants that create the photosynthesis are not that deep in the tunnel and are close to the entry? Thanks,bi.

John Wood

Good questions. If I go down in the tunnel, where is the cold air moving? That's where it will be the coldest. There are some plants that may push their roots through the top of the tunnel at the shallow end, but there is no photosynthesis going on in that dark. See you soon. Thanks,
Mr. Wood
