Hello, Mr.Wood This is Blake from period 4 and i wanted to ask what animals have you seen. I ask this question because you said that if you really look you can see interesting things. I was really interested in how much snow has precipitated in your area.

John Wood

Thanks for the note. Not a lot of animals yet. Some moose and hares. The snow has been very light since we arrived, but the mountains have received some in the last couple of days. Make sure you read the journals.Cheers,
Mr. Wood

Hello Mr. Wood Its Blake from your 4th period class and i wanted to know what type of trees can last with warming and freezing in the tundra climate. Also I was wondering how Jade was doing, you said that she is a great dog and i wanted to know more on how she is doing. Thank You!

Thanks for the questions. You may have noticed the trees in some of my photos. They aren't very large and there isn't a whole bunch of them out on the tundra. The angle of the sun up here has something to do with it, but the frozen ground in the tundra also keeps the trees from getting larger. It's tough for them up here. Jade is doing well. She spends a lot of time with the other dogs pretty much just playing and waiting for her next walk!Cheers,
Mr. Wood
