Hey Mr. Wood. How is it going up in Alaska? This is Jimmy D. from 6th period. I have the answers to your three questions: 1. What factors cause this area to be a tundra, 2. How will the factors change with a warmer climate, and 3. Why are there no large trees in this tundra area.

The factors that cause this area to be a tundra are bitterly cold winters and short, cool summers, the wet soil and permafrost, and the semi-dry weather. The factors will change with a warmer climate by having warmer, moister weather, having more plants and animals year-round, and have moist, unfrozen soil. There are no large trees in this tundra area because it is too cold for trees to grow.

P.S. I like how Sky's ear droops. :)

P.S.S. I can't wait till you get back to Talbert. Have a safe trip home!

John Wood

Good thinking! I will be seeing you very soon. Thanks,
Mr. Wood
