Hello Mr. Wood. Today was WONDERFUL! We had a great time connecting with you, all the way from California! What was the name of that berry that the caribou like? I seem to have forgotten the name. Also, I didn't exactly understand how the cotton plants start growing before and how the snow can contain heat or what the item you said. I would appreciate if you could answer the questions.

It was wonderful to have you and your class there today! Thank you for being a part of the expedition. The two berries that I showed you today were the Crowberry and the Bog Cranberry. Both of these are eaten by the caribou and others. Also, later on in the summer, there will be other things growing including blueberries. The Cotton Grass can grow so early because it stores food underground during the winter. When is senses the days getting longer and the temperatures coming up, it can begin to grow even before the snow is gone. Pretty nice adaptation! Thank you for your questions. Say hi to everyone for me.
